Child Life Month
Happy Child Life Month!
March is a time to celebrate child life professionals and reflect on their vast impact on children and families across many settings. From hospital to schools to a private practice, anywhere you find a certified child life specialist you will encounter compassion, generosity, and a tenacious dedication to the emotional and psychosocial well-being of all children and their families.
Child life professionals help families build and foster their own stories of major life events such as illness, injury, and trauma. This month, we are shining a light on the stories of child life professionals. We invite you to submit a child life story this month, whether you’re a member of the profession, love someone who is, or the recipient of child life services.

This Child Life Month, we are sharing stories by child life professionals to build community in the profession and showcase the impact of the profession on its members, children and families, and workplaces.
Submissions will be shared in partial or in full on ACLP's website and social media accounts.
Submissions may include: why you chose/choose child life, fond child life memories, experiences that encourage you, and/or experiences that positively impacted your professional life and clinical practice.
We encourage story submissions from all levels of child life professionals from diverse backgrounds practicing in any setting.
