Membership Categories & BASE DUES
Professional (Active) - $120 U.S. per year A professional member is employed or seeking employment as a child life specialist, or works as an educator of child life students at the college or university level. Read More
Student - $70 U.S. per year Student membership is designed for students at the undergraduate or graduate level who are interested in entering the child life profession. In order to be eligible for the discounted rate, proof of full-time student status (e.g. letter from registrar, copy of transcript, letter from internship supervisor) MUST accompany the membership form. Associate - $95 U.S. per year Associate members are non-child life specialists who come from another discipline or profession, but want to remain informed about issues affecting child life. Associate members include healthcare workers such as doctors and nurses, educators, parents, vendors and corporate supporters, and other concerned members of the public that are involved or interested in child life. Special Membership Categories - $70 U.S. per year
Discounted membership is available to former CLC members who qualify for Retired or Special Circumstances status. Read More
Fees and other information
Joining Fee - $25 U.S. (one-time administrative fee)
A joining fee of $25 U.S. will be included with the base dues for new and rejoining members (except students). Active members will not be charged this fee upon renewal. Read More
