The Child Life Council Web site attracts thousands of visitors each month, including child life specialists and others who are interested in supporting children and families in healthcare settings. Over the past several years, we have heard from many of our advertisers, vendor partners and affiliated organizations who are eager to find new and more immediate ways to reach this unique community. We are delighted to announce the debut of an exciting new opportunity to engage with CLC members online.
Introducing the Child Life Marketplace
The Child Life Marketplace is an online resource directory designed to meet the unique needs of the child life professional community. The Marketplace offers visitors a collection of searchable listings from a wide variety of businesses, institutions and nonprofits that supply the products, services, and information that child life professionals use every day. Our members are constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to enhance services for the children and families they serve, and the Child Life Marketplace will provide them with a convenient, one-stop shop for:

How do I become an advertiser?
There are two types of promotional opportunities available in the Marketplace. Any organization that offers products or services of interest to the child life community can purchase a listing in the Marketplace directory. For those seeking enhanced exposure, the Marketplace also has limited space available for banner advertisements. Visit the Marketplace now set up an account, make your purchase, and create your listing or upload your banner artwork. Once you have made your purchase, you can log in at any time to change listing details, update promotional offers and more.
Listing Options
Organization listings are the primary content of each page of the Child Life Marketplace. Discounts are available for exhibitors, Bulletin advertisers, and other organizations with an existing marketing relationship with CLC. For more information on current promotions, or for assistance in setting up your listing, please contact marketplace@childlife.org.
Basic Listing - $200 per year
Includes your organization’s name, address, phone number, Web link, and email link in up to one category (additional categories $25 each). Create coupons and special offers for site visitors. Also includes “Add to Favorites” and “Send to a Friend” features for site visitors to bookmark and share your listing information.
Premium Listing - $300 per year
Premium level listings appear in search results and on display pages above Basic listings in the same category. Premium listings include all of the features of a Basic listing, plus one additional listing category, and an additional field for a summary description of the organization.
Showcase Listing - $600 per year
Showcase level listings include all of the features listed above, plus much more. They appear in search results before Premium and Basic listings. You can include your listing in up to three separate categories, and the listing will also be displayed on a rotating basis on the Marketplace home page. The Showcase listing includes a summary view with your organization’s logo and contact details, with a link to a detail view that can include a detailed description, photo gallery, video snippet, map, and a contact form.
Banner Advertising Options
In addition to listings, CLC offers three types of banner advertising in the Child Life Marketplace to give each advertiser optimum exposure based on budget. You can build brand recognition by placing your ad on one of the general Marketplace
landing pages, or choose a specific category results page to match your ad to the directory content. Each ad is rotated upon refresh of the page.
