Networking Subgroups

CLC Forum Networking Subgroups

For additional networking opportunities, subgroups of the CLC Forum include:

Academics: for those CLC members at colleges or universities working to educate child life students who intend to enter the field of child life, this subgroup will provide a year-round networking forum to share ideas and challenges faced by academic professionals. Please indicate your academic role when requesting subscription.

Alternative Settings: for those applying child life expertise in non-hospital settings, and those wishing to learn more about child life opportunities in alternative settings.

Directors: for leaders of child life programs.*

International: for those working in child life outside North America, and those who have experience working outside North America.

Small Programs: for leaders of one to three-person child life programs.

Students: for those CLC members who are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school and intend to enter the child life profession.

Subscribing to a Networking Subgroup

To subscribe to any CLC Forum networking subgroup, follow these steps:

Log in to the CLC Forum
Select "clcforum" from the list of My Forums on the main page
Select “All Forums” from the menu on the left side of the screen
Review the list of available subgroups, and select "Subscribe" for the subgroup that is of interest to you
A message will appear indicating that your subscribe request has been received, and a message will automatically be sent to your email address on file in order to confirm your request to be added to the subgroup.
Once you receive the confirmation email from Lyris ListManager, click on the link provided to confirm your subscription request.

*For those interested in the Directors subgroup, please note that your request will first be screened by CLC staff to confirm your program leader status. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a confirmation notice via email.
